Hi! 

I’m Seema, the voice behind Basha By Seema. Welcome to my lifestyle, & interiors blog. This is my personal portrait of everyday life.

I’m an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor by day, and an avid design & decor aficionado by night. I am currently an interior designer in training, enrolled in part time studies.

I love sharing home décor tips, easy recipes, and my travel adventures. Here you will find simple and accessible ideas for infusing style into all aspects of your life.

As a Canadian of Bangladeshi heritage, I wanted to ensure my blog is a representation of who I am, hence the name Basha by Seema.  In the Bengali language, “BASHA” [ /bah – shah/ ] means home or residence. I am a firm believer that your your home should be a blueprint of your life.

I am married to a very supportive husband, who has pushed me to pursue my passions and I am so grateful! I’m also a mom to the sweetest little boy {BiG Z}, who’ll make frequent appearances on here.

I started this blog as creative outlet to chronicle my projects, passions and stories, I hope you’ll stay awhile and get inspired.
